See you at Children’s Day tomorrow!

Multi-Skills zone will be on show tomorrow

A final reminder to all fans to come and join the full Leeds Rhinos squad, Ronnie the Rhino, Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, Leeds United Foundation and the host of other local companies who will make tomorrow’s Children’s Day a day to remember!

Children's Day is an annual event held across the cricket and rugby grounds at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. Its origins date as far back as 1922 when tens of thousands of people would flock to Soldiers' Field at Roundhay Park to enjoy the day. In 1946, just after the Second World War, it was reported that 96,000 people attended.

In 2013 the day, which saw over 5,000 people flock through the gates, was delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and Leeds Rugby Foundation with support from the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund, Leeds City Council, Leeds United Foundation and West Yorkshire Police who also use the event to deliver their open day.

And this year the day, supported by Mears and Irwin Mitchell, is set to be even better with the following list of events and stalls on show:
