Leeds Rugby Foundation would like to invite all Primary School Headteachers to Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Friday 17th January at 1pm to join us in celebrating the work we do in schools across the Leeds District, by attending our school dinner presentation.
Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) is Leeds Rugby's charity that delivers projects in the heart of the community. Harnessing the power of sport, particularly rugby league and union we aim to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals’ lives. As Leeds Rugby's charity we have an amazing opportunity to truly change lives through sport.
The work of Leeds Rugby Foundation was recently recognised at the 2013 Super League Man of Steel Awards, by receiving the 2013 Foundation of the Year Award.
Leeds Rugby Foundation has been a positive force for the children of your school and community members in Leeds for more than eight years. We therefore invite Headteachers to join our Foundation team to celebrate our valued partnership we have with schools.
The school dinner presentation will be hosted by Jamie Jones-Buchanan (Leeds Rhinos, England RL International and LRF Trustee) and include a 2 course meal in the presence of Leeds Rhinos players and Hunslet Hawks staff. The event will culminate with a short presentation on the way we would like to work with schools in the future, whilst complementing the schools Ambassador Scheme and School Sport Offer.
