Rhinos Challenge Posts Win Prizes Winners Announced!

Following another record breaking year at Rhinos Challenge in May, we are delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Posts Win Prizes Competition who have all won a special prize for sharing their tour memories with us throughout the festival.

In the build up to this year's festival we asked teams, players and supporters from the 170 clubs on location at Rhinos Challenge to share the social media posts that encapsulated their tour experience – with the best posts winning prizes.

Due to the number of fantastic posts from several clubs and supporters over the weekend, we've picked five winners who will all take home a Rhinos Challenge ball and two more who will win a Leeds Rhinos mug, coaster and key ring set to take our list up to 7.

We've consulted with the players who were with us during the weekend and event organisers from Leeds Rhinos Foundation to decide on the eventual list, so here are our winners:

– We are always amazed by the creativity of some of the teams coming to Rhinos Challenge but sometimes we are still in awe of what teams send us. One of our top five winners is Martyn Leech from Culceth Eagles who created his own Sky Sports style team announcement for the club. Just wow!

– One of our winners came from Louise Cooper from Oulton Raiders who got creative on Instagram and sent us a boomerang of the under 12s team warming up prior to their first game. Nice footwork guys!

– It's always great to see clubs and players of the game come together to raise awareness of important causes and we were so pleased to see Will's Way Charity given so much support over the weekend from a number of teams. The North Leeds Leopards Under 15s who teamed up with Seaton Rangers for this year's festival exemplified this support by sending us this picture with the W symbol. Great job guys! Tina Guthrie with the post.

– Another one of our winners from the weekend were Golbourne Parkside Pirates Under 9s, who brought a new dimension to the Rhinos Challenge experience (which we really hope catches on). Mums and Dad's and players all went for full on fancy dress at Butlin's and we love it! Well played Golbourne! Thanks to Gemma Simms for the post.

– Our players always enjoy visiting Rhinos Challenge each year as they get to join in with the UK's biggest junior rugby league festival. One club who grabbed their chance for a picture with the players were Batley Boys Under 7s who sent us this picture with Joel Moon and Carl Ablett. Awwww! Well done to the celebrity spotter parent in the camp who sent that in.

– Rhinos Challenge really is a fantastic advert for rugby league with all the camaraderie on show during the weekend, between fellow parents, clubs and most importantly players. When Kippax Under 12s met MJC Carcassone at this year's festival the teams made friends for life and even posed for a team picture afterwards. Great sportmanship all round. Thanks for a great post Rachel Smith.
