Pre-school programme Ronnie’s Rascals to start this June

Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Ronnie’s Rascals pre-school programme designed to prepare toddlers for learning and interacting in a school environment will be running at St James Woodside Church in Horsforth later this month

Ronnie’s Rascals, which is aimed at children aged 2-4 years’ old, will be running for an initial six-week block on Tuesday mornings from 9:45am to 10:30am from the 20th June, offering games and exercises that target the national curriculum for early years' foundation stage.

Delivered by the charity’s experienced school delivery staff, sessions cover themes including communication and language, physical and emotional development, literacy and numeracy, understanding the world and expressive arts and design.

Children and parents work through a series of interactive nursery rhymes and circle time activities and FUNdamental movement games designed to encourage interaction with other children and to build confidence into the sessions to help prepare for the primary school setting.

Sessions can be booked as a 6-week block for the cost of £30 or purchased individually or on the day for £5 a session. if you require anymore information about Ronnie’s Rascals or would like to book your child on the programme please email Tom.Exley@leedsrhinosfoundation.org
