Leeds Rugby Foundation are continuing their work with Leeds School’s throughout 2014 and we want YOU to be involved with us.
Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) change thousands of lives through sport every year and one huge part of LRF's life changing concept is their work in schools.
LRF's work in schools falls under the Rugby League Development Plan for Leeds which aims to get young people involved in rugby league from the youngest of ages. The hope is then youngsters will either go onto play the game or watch a Leeds Rhinos and Hunslet Hawks game.
And as part of this plan, LRF have a new 'Traded Services Plan' to offer to all schools which will hopefully see children develop healthy lifestyles, participate in more sport, improve standards and ENGAGE WITH THE RHINOS!
It is worth noting the below list of current Leeds Rhinos first team players who have progressed through their rugby at local Leeds schools:

So what is the 'Traded Services Plan' offer?
The plan will see LRF work in clusters throughout Leeds with each school who sign up to the plan being allocated a dedicated and trustworthy LRF Officer who will be the main point of contact between the Leeds Rhinos and the school.
Each LRF officer will be DBS cleared, fully qualified and trained, responsible for a maximum of 10 schools and will also link Leeds Rhinos and the schools to local community clubs.
What will each school recieve?
– 12 hours of KS2 Tag Rugby
– 12 hours of KS1 Multi Skills/Sports
– 12 hours After School Clubs
– Coach Education
– 3 x SEALs Themed Assemblies
– 12 hours of Lunch Time ‘Buddy’
– Fundraising Day
– Breakfast Club Support (Optional)
– Rhinos Player/Ronnie Appearances
– Personalised to meet the Schools Need
This Traded Services Plan offer will work in conjunction with the Active School's Programme and the current LRF's Primary School Offer.
