Local Community Clubs To Come Together For fourth Ambassador Festival of Rugby next month

Last year saw over 5000 people attend!

Leeds Rugby Foundation will host their fourth Ambassador Festival Of Rugby on Sunday 31st August, from 10am until 4pm at Leeds Rugby Academy, Kirkstall, which will see 56 teams from local community clubs in Leeds attend in what will be the biggest Junior Rugby League Festival in England.

This years' event which is sponsored by Leeds 17 and the family of Dick Gibson, will host a 7-11 year-old tournament on the Leeds Rhinos training pitches as well as an over 35's Masters Rugby League tournament which is sponsored by Bramley Trust.

There is not just rugby on show though as there will be a host of stalls from X Blades to the hottest new Rugby League show, Rugby AM! There will also be a number of games and raffles for everyone to enjoy and food and refreshments too.

Last year’s event saw the real power of community clubs come together with approximately 2,000 people of all ages attending and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever before!
