List of Children’s Day activities and stalls revealed!

Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) is pleased to announce the full list of activities and stalls that will be on show at Sunday’s eagerly anticipated Children’s Day 2014.

Children's Day is an annual event held across the cricket and rugby grounds at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. Its origins date as far back as 1922 when tens of thousands of people would flock to Soldiers' Field at Roundhay Park to enjoy the day. In 1946, just after the Second World War, it was reported that 96,000 people attended.

In 2012 the day, which saw over 5,000 people flock through the gates, was delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and Leeds Rugby Foundation with support from the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund, Leeds City Council, Leeds United Foundation and West Yorkshire Police who also use the event to deliver their open day.
