LEOPARDS PRESENTATION NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS

Around 150 junior players, parents, friends and distinguished guests joined North Leeds Leopards for their annual presentations at their Moortown Social Club base.

Amid the pizza and apple pie, guest of honour Kylie Leuluai gave out the prizes while Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brian McDermott and Leeds Rugby Chief Executive Gary Hetherington held the room spellbound with their insights in to the game while praising the efforts of the club who, within a space of 18 months, now operate from Under-5s to Under-12s.

Also present was local MP Fabian Hamilton, who pledged his support for the Leopards. It was also announced that the club intend to play in the Yorkshire Junior League in 2012, their first regular fixtures, at Under-12 level.

Winter training at Allerton High School takes a break from this Tuesday (13th December) and restarts on Tuesday 31st January.
