Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) held a girls rugby league taster session Wednesday 23rd April at Stanningley ARLFC to support their growing girls section.
LRF welcomed girls from local schools to enjoy an evening of fun rugby league games. The one and only Ronnie Rhino was also in attendance.
The Stanningley ARLFC session attracted 10 new girls in years 5 & 6 to training and LRF's Girls Development Officer Lois Forsell commented on the success:
"By all accounts all the girls thoroughly enjoyed it. It is imperative to introduce girls to rugby league from the youngest of ages and hopefully this success can be the start of many more girls sessions in the Leeds area."

Training is every week and Leeds Rugby Foundation welcome girls of all abilities from ages 10 to 16.
