Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) and The Rugby League Experience are delighted to announce that yesterday’s Grand Prize Draw Winner, drawn by LRF Vice President Matthew Lewis, is John Barker who wins a VIP TRIP OF A LIFETIME to watch the NRL Grand Final in Sydney, Australia as well as £1000 in cash!
John Barker who lives in Mirfield, works for a local wine company and has supported Leeds Rhinos for 45 years! He will take his wife Joan, who also attends the Rhinos games, on his trip of a lifetime.
John’s unique trip for 2 courtesy of The Rugby League Experience, includes Economy class flights to Sydney, 7 nights stay in a top 4-star hotel, tickets to attend the Preliminary Finals (if played in Sydney) and an invitation to the Dally M Awards and Grand Final Lunch. As well as that, John also receives a tour of Sydney Cricket Ground and Alliance Stadium, a Legends of League Sydney Harbour Cruise and of course tickets to the NRL Grand Final itself!
John commented on his success: “I could not believe it when I received the phone-call to say I had won. Nearly 10 years ago the Rhinos played Salford and I won the Golden Gamble draw too. When I bought my ticket yesterday I thought, it can't happen again, can it?"
