Leeds Rugby Foundation Appoint Davide Longo As Partnership Manager

Leeds Rugby Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Davide Longo as Partnership Manager.

Davide, 37, will work as a key member of the Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) team to build relationships with community businesses in Leeds and the wider region within LRF’s three sectors of Sport, Health and Education.

Davide will also manage the fundraising strategy for Leeds Rugby Foundation.

Leeds Rugby Foundation is Leeds Rugby's charity that delivers projects in the heart of the community, harnessing the power of sport to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals' lives.

Despite the current financial climate, the last year has seen huge growth in Leeds Rugby Foundation and its number of staff members with the figure now standing at 15 full-time staff present.

Davide is a huge coup for LRF after the former Dewsbury, Bradford, Swinton, Keighley and Batley Rugby League professional made the switch from his previous role as General Manager at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Davide commented: “I am thrilled to have joined the ever-growing team at Leeds Rugby’s official charity, Leeds Rugby Foundation.

“I feel I have a great deal of experience gathered over the years and hopefully I can count on that experience here at the Foundation.

“The Foundation does some fantastic work throughout Leeds and I am looking forward to being a part of that, helping to change many more lives.”

Dr. Neil Kaiper-Holmes, Chairman of Leeds Rugby Foundation is delighted with the appointment:

“Davide’s appointment is a valuable addition to Leeds Rugby Foundation as we move forward and continue to grow in the city,” he said.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience which we hope to use to our advantage for this great city of ours.”
