Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) would like to offer all clubs the chance to take part in regular touch rugby festivals with events taking place between November & February at Soccer City in Leeds (1 Benyon Park Way, Leeds, LS12 6DP).
LRF are providing Touch Rugby festivals for age groups U8’s, U9’s, U10’s and U11’s as well as fun themed sessions for Mini’s and U7’s starting this Saturday!
The festivals aim to promote and develop ball skills, agility, speed, support play and teamwork. With this in mind LRF would like to see players from local community clubs who don’t always get the limelight on a match day, to come down and shine in a different type of environment.
The festival will allow clubs’ to enter up to 2 teams per age group. There will be an entry fee of £1.50 per player to cover the facility costs.
The events will be run as a 5 a-side festival with 8 team members, meaining 3 players will rest at all times.
Registration will be 9.15-9.30am with all games starting at 10am. The festival will finish at 12.30pm and will include presentations with all players receiving a certificate and a chance to see Ronnie Rhino, Harry Hawk and Leeds Rhinos/Hunslet Hawks players at least once throughout the festival dates.

9th November – Mini and U7's
10th November – U8's and U9's
24th November – U10's
8th December – Mini and U7's
12th January – U8's and U9's
26th January – U10's
8th February – U8's and U9's
22nd February – U10's
1st March – Mini and U7's
