Leeds Rhinos Women Under 19s have announced their squad for their second fixture of the season against Huddersfield Giants U19s at Oulton Raiders ARLFC on Wednesday 4th July including debutantes Katie Costello, Charlotte Priestley, Brogan Townsley-Parker and Abby Cromack.
The team who are sponsored by Mears have are coming off a victory in their first ever fixture in May which saw a win against Castleford Tigers and will take on a Huddersfield Giants team who beat Wigan Warriors in their opener in June.
The squad train once a week as part of the set up supported by Leeds Rhinos Foundation and represent their community clubs under the stewardship of Leeds Rhinos Captain Lois Forsell and Head Coach Matty Bullough.
Charlotte Priestley, Brogan Townsley-Parker and Abby Cromack have been on a trial with the academy and were signed to join for the rest of the season after impressing the coaches.
The girls were invited on to a trial on the back on attending the girls Under16-19s development programme which has been running monthly at different community clubs across Leeds, the next session on the development programme is Monday 30th July at Stanningley ARLFC.
Kick off for the game is from 7:30pm, Admission at Oulton is £3 for adults and Kids (under 16) go free.
