Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair secure place in 2023 Grand Final

A victory on home turf against Halifax Panthers on Saturday evening confirmed a spot in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final for Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair.

In the biggest club rivalry in the sport, the Rhinos’ first half performance kept the Panthers try-less and set up the platform for victory.

England international Josh Butler crowned an excellent week, that had seen him named as one of the nominees for the 2023 Wheels of Steel and record a five try haul to secure Leeds a place in the Betfred Wheelchair Grand Final in Manchester on 15th October, where they will play either London Roosters or Wigan Warriors who meet in the capital next weekend.

The Panthers brought it back in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to steal the win from a strong Leeds side.

Be there for the season finale at the Wheelchair Super League Grand Final on Sunday 15 October (KO 17:30) at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
