Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair continue their Super League campaign this Saturday

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair will begin their play in the Wheelchair Super League Championship Round this Saturday when they host London Roosters at The Edge (11:00) on the University of Leeds campus.

The two sides last met on 7th May as the Rhinos ran out 58-46 in an entertaining clash at Leeds Beckett University Sports Arena, which was unable to host this weekend’s fixture meaning a switch of venue across the city.

It will be the side’s first game of the postseason, as they battle it out with the Roosters, Halifax Panthers and Wigan Warriors in the Top 4 play-offs for a place in the Wheelchair Super League Grand Final in October, being broadcast live on Sky Sports as part of a bumper year for Wheelchair Rugby League.

Rhinos enter Saturday’s fixture in good form, winning their last three league matches and going unbeaten at last month’s Challenge Cup Final festival, which also included an 18-0 victory over the Roosters in Hull.

Entry will once again be free for all spectators to come enjoy the action, with a donation encouraged to support the running of Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Disability Rugby League teams. We hope to see plenty of Rhinos fans coming along to cheer on our side in the quest for another title!

There is also free parking available on site, but as The Edge is a city centre facility there are strict regulations- you can get a 3 hour free parking allowance and you will need a code from the reception to use at the pay machine when you leave.
