Leeds Rhinos Foundation proud to support Just One More Campaign 2026

We are delighted to be supporting the Just One More Campaign 2026, launching with a themed Activity Week from Monday 11 May to Friday 15 May, and continuing across Leeds until Friday 26 June 2026.

Now in its fifth year, Just One More is a city-wide campaign encouraging people to add just one more portion of vegetables each day. Small changes like this can make a meaningful difference to health, wellbeing and the environment — and together, we can help inspire those changes across Leeds.

Eating vegetables is essential for good health. They are packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre that support digestion, strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of long-term health conditions. However, many people still struggle to include vegetables regularly in everyday meals. Vegetables are often seen as expensive, boring or difficult to prepare — especially for families.

The Just One More campaign challenges these perceptions by sharing colourful, tasty and budget-friendly ideas that make vegetables easier and more enjoyable to eat. From quick snacks to family favourites, the campaign focuses on realistic changes that work in everyday life.

As part of this week’s activation, a special video featuring Leeds Rhinos players, Foundation staff, community participants and our friends at DAZL will be showcased on the big screen in Millennium Square. In the video, participants share their favourite vegetables and the meals they enjoy them in, helping to bring the message to life in a fun and relatable way. This public display is designed to spread awareness across the city while supporting our ongoing work with schools and clubs, where we are actively delivering sessions to reinforce healthy habits.

Alongside this, the Foundation is also making an internal commitment, pledging to encourage all staff members to include at least two portions of vegetables in their lunches every day.

We are inviting individuals, families, workplaces and organisations to take part by making a Veg Pledge via the FoodWise Leeds Veg Pledge Counter – www.foodwiseleeds.org/vegpledge
