Leeds Rhinos PDRL were pushed to the last minute for victory against Wakefield Trinity PDRL in a 28-22 thriller at Emerald Headingley.

Tries from Tommy Pouncey, Dan Roberts, Tom Lockett, Chris Young and Paul Selves ensured the Rhinos claimed the win, despite going into half time at a 6-12 disadvantage.

Wakefield proved tough opposition; only conceding once in the first half as well as keeping the scores close in the second, locking the scores up at 22-22 with 5 minutes on the clock. Paul Selves was the man to win it, touching down to win the game in front of a Headingley crowd.

There was plenty of positive reaction to the victory; BBC sports Gemma Collis showing plenty of love for the players and the game as well as Rhinos Foundation chairman Phil Caplan.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first game of Physical Disability Rugby League at @EmeraldStadium last night. Was great chatting to the players afterwards for @BBCSport. Looking forward to putting it all together now! #PDRL #InclusiveSport https://t.co/H0ATJg0Ymj

Well done to @RugbyLeeds & @WTrinityRL for putting on a cracking game of @PDRLEngland. Toughest game I’ve been involved with, it went right to the very last tackle. Great atmosphere at and the support of both teams was brilliant. Another superb example of what great sport PDRL is
