Young Leeds Rhinos player, Josh Butler, picked up the Young Player of the Year award for the Betfred Wheelchair Super League last night.

Josh Butler was recently named the Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair Player of the Year after becoming a mainstay of the side this season as he helped James Simpson’s side reach the Betfred Challenge Cup Final and this Sunday’s Grand Final against Wigan Warriors in Manchester.

Butler has been part of the Rhinos Wheelchair side since 2011 having given up the running game due to his eye sight.

Josh has been recognised for both his personal growth and his commitment and improvement on the pitch throughout the year, and has played in a key role in the Rhinos sides’ success.
