Leeds Rhinos Foundation in partnership with Leeds Public Health are providing free ‘Clubbercise’ fitness sessions for 20 weeks at Bramley Villagers Community Club starting on Tuesday 15th March.
On International Women’s Day 2016, the Leeds Rhinos Foundation are pleased to be able to unveil a new free and ladies only Clubbercise fitness programme which starts on the 15th March at Bramley Villagers Community Club.
Clubbercise, which was launched in 2013, has developed into one of the fastest growing exercise classes for women across the country, offering easy-to-follow dance fitness performed to club anthems under disco lights.
The tailored workout, which uses specially designed glow sticks, is a muscle toning and calorie burning, dance based exercise and will be delivered by a fully trained Clubbercise community instructor.
The sessions, available to ladies aged 18 + are perfect for all fitness levels and can be tailored to provide high and low impact workouts to suit everyone.
Health Improvement Officer, Stephen Turrell commented on the new programme offered by the Leeds Rhinos Foundation:
“It’s fantastic to finally launch a fitness programme for ladies only alongside Leeds Public Health that will hopefully provide a fun, care free and enjoyable environment for ladies in Leeds to come along and enjoy a free fitness class every Tuesday evening.
“Based on feedback from our previous programmes and the success of our men’s health management programme we have been running in 2016, we think Clubbercise will be perfect for people of all activity levels to enjoy getting fit through a really popular activity and we look forward to seeing a packed venue at Bramley Villagers over the next 5 months.”
Classes will run between 6-7pm, please arrive early and sign in with Leeds Rhinos Foundation staff on arrival. Special Clubbercise Glow Sticks are available to purchase on site for £5 from our Clubbercise instructor. Due to limitations on the venue size, we will be operating on a first-come-first-served basis.
Please wear Trainers and sportswear/streetwear/fitness clothing to workout in and your own water bottle is advised.
