Join Underdogs for a takeover night and get involved in Rugby League

10 new players signed up for a free sky try taster session last week

Leeds Rhinos Foundation have helped recruit 10 new players to the game of Rugby League and Leeds Underdogs new under 7s age group this week supported by Leeds Rhinos stars Jimmy Keinhorst and Brad Singleton and will be running a further club takeover night on Monday for new players to find out about the club

Leeds Underdogs is based in the Leeds 16 area of Leeds and was established in October 2012. The club has been growing in number especially over the last two years with boys and girls from across the city signing up for  teams which including Under 12s,11's,10s and Under 7's and a pups team (ages 3-5).

Based out of their new surroundings at Leeds Modernians RUFC (Cookridge Lane, Leeds, LS16 7DN) the club also operate an under 15 girls team as well as an Open Age men's team. 

Following the success of the Sky Try Taster night for under 7s on 6th June where 10 new players joined Jimmy Keinhorst and Brad Singleton along with Sam Horner, Joe Sanderson and Harvey Whiteley from Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Leeds Rhinos Foundation coaches will be running a takeover night on the 10th June providing a skills and rugby development night for all age groups at the club. The session will start from 6pm at Leeds Modernians.

Training is every Tuesday and Thursday for the Open Age, Wednesdays from 5:30pm for Junior teams and girls and Sunday mornings for the pups.
