JBAndrews take on Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge in support of Foundation

On Friday 18th August, our good friends from JBAndrews took part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise funds for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Leeds Rhinos Foundation were the very first charity that JBAndrews partnered with, a relationship that started in the first few months of the company operating back in 2018.

JBAndrews are one of the companies that the Foundation works with in delivering our Offload programme, a free 6-week mental health fitness programme, delivered in partnership with Rugby League Cares.

This won’t be the first time that employees of the company have come together to raise funds for our Foundation, supporting the projects that we run in our local community. Back in June, members of the team participated in the Leeds 10K as part of our Run with the Rhinos team, as well as taking on the same 3 Peaks challenge last June.

Jeremiah Bavington, Head of Brand & Marketing at JBAndrews, said: “Earlier this month, members of our JBA Leeds team took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, all in support of our friends at the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.”

“Two of our core business values are ‘Building Purposeful Partnerships’ and ‘Putting People First’ – we believe these are values the Foundation encompasses to a tee which is why they are our charity of choice for any fundraising initiatives we do. The great work they do in the local community of Leeds far exceeds most professional sports clubs’ Foundations; they truly care for the community.”

“Having such an inspirational cause to support made the fundraising and trek that little bit easier, raising a total of £2,135, with each member of the team completing the challenge in around 10 hours. We love the partnership we have with the Foundation and look forward to supporting them for many years to come!”

Here at the Foundation we are so grateful that JBAndrews have taken on this challenge to support us and the work that we do, and we would like to say a massive thank you to every member that took part.

Head of Business and Partnerships, Dan Busfield, said: ““We are extremely grateful that JBAndrews chose to support our charity in taking on their Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.”

“The money raised will have a huge impact on the community projects that we run and will allow us to change an increased number of lives through sport.”

“We hope that our relationship with JBAndrews continues long into the future, and we can carry on supporting one another.”
