Leeds Rhinos Foundation are teaming up with Leeds Rhinos Netball to deliver a series of one day Christmas camps over the school holidays for boys and girls at five different venues across Yorkshire on Wednesday 22nd and 29th December.
The camps run from 9am-3pm and are open to any aspiring young netballers aged between 7-11 and 12-16 years old, at a cost of just £35 per day!
Designed by Rhinos’ star player Paige Kindred, the club’s highly qualified Rhinos pathway coaching staff will be on hand to provide a variety of sessions which aim to develop the core skills of the young players, whilst ensuring it remains both fun and inclusive for all abilities!
During the camps, players will enjoy the chance to:
- Develop their ball handling skills
- Work on footwork patterns and agility
- Learn and develop their attacking and defending in positional workshops
- Play fun skills games
- Develop their game sense
- Play Netball matches
- Have some added Christmas fun!
There will be special guest appearances from the Leeds Rhinos Netball Superleague players with opportunities to receive autographs, ask questions and grab those all important selfies!

7- 11 years old at Outwood Academy, Normanton, WF6 1HZ
7- 11 years old at St. Marys’s College, Hull, HU6 7TN
12- 16 years old at Bradford Grammar School, BD9 4JP
Wednesday 29th December camps:
7- 11 years old at Fulneck School, Pudsey, LS28 8DS
12- 16 years old at Outwood Academy, Normanton, WF6 1HZ
Participants will need to ensure they bring suitable indoor footwear and attire, as well as a packed lunch and a water bottle!
In response to the COVID 19 outbreak, the following measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of all participants and staff:
- Increased staffing levels to work with smaller groups. 1:15 ratio.
- No sharing of water bottles/ food- please bring packed lunches.
- Equipment sanitised before and after use.
- Social distancing at sign in/out and during breaks
