Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s popular weight-management programme Try Club will be helping more men in Leeds to get fit and lose weight this autumn with a new course starting at Emerald Headingley Stadium.
The free 12-week programme, run in partnership with Leeds Public Health, will commence on Wednesday 25th September, 6-7:30pm, at the home of Leeds Rhinos.
Led by staff from Leeds Rhinos Foundation who are trained in providing healthy lifestyle consultations, advice and support, the weekly sessions offer honest and realistic advice without the need for gimmicks, diets or painful gym sessions, splitting delivery between educational classroom learning and physical activity.
With a focus on realistic goal setting, nutrition and other health related topics, the week by week approach to improving health and weight management helps service users achieve maintainable lifestyle changes.
179 men attended our Try Club courses last year, with 91% reducing their weight by over 3%.
To be eligible for the programme, you will have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of over 25, be male and over the age of 18.
