Try Club is a free 12-week weight management programme developed in partnership with Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Public Health Leeds. The sessions are both classroom and pitch based and aim to educate, motivate, and support you to make and maintain healthier choices throughout the programme.
On completion of the 12-week course the aim is for every participant to be educated, motivated and committed to getting healthy and staying fit.
The programme consists of:
1.5 hours of delivery per week split, between classroom and pitch
A weekly focus on a specific aspect of nutrition or behaviour change
Fun physical activity taster sessions and team games
Free resources and support from trained Leeds Rhinos Foundation health experts throughout
Importantly all sessions are:
Absolutely FREE!
Designed to be fun and interactive
Accessible to all men and now- for the first time- women!
Any present medical conditions stable and controlled before commencing the programme (please consult your GP if you have any health concerns prior to starting the programme.)
