Foundation partners Dynamic Networks Group receive their Run With The Rhinos team tops

Leeds Rhinos Foundation completed their first delivery of the 2021 Run With The Rhinos running tops earlier this week, with Foundation 500 founding members Dynamic Networks Group the first group to receive their exclusive shirts for the Leeds 10k on Sunday 5th September.

The Headingley-based business have entered a team of nine runners into this year’s race as part of the Run With The Rhinos to raise help raise money for the Foundation through their annual fundraising event, building on their long-standing partnership with the official charity of Leeds Rhinos.

Featuring a striking Rose Pink colourway, coupled with the famous blue and amber tones of the Rhinos and featuring a Rob Burrow ‘7’ logo on the front, the new race shirts produced by Oxen Sports UK will be given to all members of the RWTR team and proved to be a great hit with the Dynamic staff who are already well underway in their preparations for the big day.

Sarah Baugh, Marketing Manager for Dynamic Networks Group, said: “It’s great to be part of the Run With The Rhinos team this year as we don’t do many things out of work together as a team, so it’s really good for morale and it’s also for the Foundation itself to benefit from our fundraising efforts.”

“We really want to focus on working to support different charities over the next few years, and Leeds Rhinos Foundation is definitely one we wanted to work with as much as we possibly could so it’s the perfect opportunity.

“The shirts are fantastic and the team wanted to take them away straight away which shows how excited they all are. The colours are brilliant, I don’t think you can miss us running in them but I think it’s great to be able to show off and really stand out as being in the Run With The Rhinos cohort.

“I think having these bespoke running shirts is a great idea and it just kind of brings everyone together as part of one big team. Once everyone is wearing them on the day it’s going to be look fantastic and really unite everyone together, so we’re looking forward to that on race day.”

Almost 200 runners and walkers are set to take on the Run for All Leeds 10k this summer this year as part of the Run With The Rhinos team, which makes its long-awaited return following the postponement of last year’s city centre race due to the coronavirus pandemic.

For those taking part from Dynamic, it will be their first experience of this fundraising event but they are no certainly strangers to throwing their support behind Leeds Rhinos and the Foundation in particular.

“We’re based locally at Headingley train station and we know the fantastic work Leeds Rhinos Foundation does in this community, so for us it was the opportunity to work with a local charity who can make a real difference. We’ve already got a long-standing partnership with the Foundation which was recently extended through the Foundation 500 scheme so we want to keep that positive relationship going now.

“It’s a big challenge and a few of us may end up walking it, but I think the great thing is it’s something to keep the team motivated and to focus on. We’ve sorted training plans and started using the team Strava App logging our times which keeps us talking outside of work and is building up our team spirit.

“We’ve got a couple of runners that run quite regularly, then a few that have never done it before who are training and are going to try it and some who want to walk but it’s just about taking part for a good cause which is what I’ve told them to remember.

“It’s great to be running with the Rhinos legends and we’ll have quite a few of our team’s family members involved by coming down to watch and cheer us on. We’re excited to get a load of photos and make it a really big event for Dynamic.”
