Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s growing community team are looking to hire paid casual dance and sport coaches to support the charity’s city wide delivery in secondary and primary schools in Leeds.

Sport is an engaging tool that allows our staff to work with a whole range of individuals, delivering important lifestyle messages to inspire others to make positive changes to their own lives.

Job Opportunity – Casual Dance Coach
 
Department: Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Emerald Headingley Stadium
Hours per week: Varied
Salary: Based on experience
Start date: tbc

We are recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic casual dance coach to support our bespoke PE and sports coaching in Leeds. Coaches will be responsible for the delivery of high quality dance lessons linked to the PE national curriculum working with young people from a range of backgrounds.

Applicants must have experience of delivering age appropriate dance lessons in street and cheer dance

The role requires applicants to:

  • Set up and deliver high quality dance sessions to children and young people
  • Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
  • Work with Leeds Rhinos Foundation Full time coaches to support dance delivery across the city

Person specification

  • Able to engage with a wide range of people
  • Current full DBS check, safeguarding children, and First Aid certificates
  • Full Clean Driving License (Applicants need to have access to own transport as travelling around the region will be necessary)
  • Recognised NGB Coaching Certificate
  • Passionate about dance with a desire to inspire young people
  • Experience working with children in a school environment
  • Proven behaviour management skills
  • Reliable with strong time management
  • Self-motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching

We are recruiting for a casual sports and PE coach who will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of a bespoke inclusive offer for Physical Activity, PE and Sport that is needs led and will enable schools to embed National initiatives at a local level.

The role requires applicants to:

  • Set up and deliver high quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people
  • Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
  • Work with Leeds Rhinos Foundation Full time coaches to support coaching and PE sessions around the city
