Producers of the new Leeds Rhinos Foundation film, Brass Agency, spoke of their pride in supporting the charity with their new short film showcasing the charity’s ‘Changing Lives Through Sport’ philosophy.

The film, which premiered last week at Leeds Rhinos Foundation's 10 Year Anniversary celebrations and was produced by Brass Agency with the help of Mob Sport and directed by Jason Fisher-Jones, stars Leeds Rhinos player and Foundation trustee Jamie Jones-Buchanan and captures how the lives of children and adults in deprived communities across Leeds have been enriched through some of the Foundation's projects.

In production from as early as April, when plans for the new short film were originally discussed, the Leeds Rhinos Foundation's 10 year anniversary event last week at Leeds Town Hall provided the perfect backdrop for its unveiling, with over 400 guests and people attached to the official charity of Leeds Rhinos in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Brass Agency's creative director Dave Lambert, commented: "As an agency we are more than willing to support such a great charity and this is the culmination of many months work for us.

"The Foundation itself for me personally, as a member of the board of trustees, it means a lot to me, but being a fan of the game, a fan of the club and a fan of the players here it's quite an honour to be involved with it. For us it's a landmark thing to do as a business at Brass where we were more than happy to help out, we are so proud of it and hopefully it does the justice for the Foundation and all the good they do because it's amazing what everybody does there."

Shot at four different locations across the city, to reflect the charity's wide variety of work, the film shows Leeds Rhinos Foundation inspiring young people at a variety of locations around the city.

Partner School, Brudenell Primary, with their schools partnership officer Dan Hardy, specialist inclusive learning centre Broomfield School; who received a visit from Ronnie the Rhino and development officer Sam Horner and the charity’s TryZone Education Centre and their adult learners programme, are all featured in the film narrated by Leeds Rhinos star Jamie Jones-Buchanan.

The long term Leeds Rhinos Foundation trustee revisits his first club, Stanningley, for one of their training sessions to demonstrate the close links the charity has with the city’s community clubs and how they support them in their development of the game and nurturing new players, as part of his powerful performance in the film.

Director Jason Fisher-Jones who worked with Brass Agency and Mob Sport in the production of the film commented on the performance of the Bramley born veteran:  "I think with Jamie Jones- Buchanan, who has quite an interest in television and film but he has never been on screen and he's not an actor or performer, brought a lot to it.  He was fantastic on the day, he delivered his lines without fault and I think he took a great interest in the whole process from start to finish, so he really looked after us during the filming."

Dave Lambert was also full of praise for Jones-Buchanan adding: "Jamie was an absolute superstar and he's a complete natural, I think watch out Hollywood! He nailed the script and his performance was fantastic and he literally throw himself around on the pitch to muddy himself up and immerse himself in the role and I can't imagine anyone else doing that, but he was a superstar on the day and just summed up the spirit of the Foundation for me, so I was really proud to work with him and what a guy!
