Leeds Rhinos Foundation has once again joined forces with the Outer North West Community Committee to deliver a multi-sports activity camp during the October half term holidays.
The camp will run between Monday 26th October and Thursday 29th October- from 9am to 3pm- at Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley.
Priced at just £15, the camp is available to all 7-14 year-olds living in the LS18, LS19 and LS21 postcodes.
Children will enjoy four full days of fun and engaging activities led by our highly qualified sports coaches, who carry a Level 2 National Governing Body coaching qualification and hold a valid DBS and safeguarding check. Tailored to all abilities, the camp is a perfect opportunity for children to stay active, meet new people and enjoy their favourite sports whilst developing and learning new skills.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the following measures will be implemented to ensure our camps remain COVID-secure:
• Increased staff numbers to work with smaller groups.
• Plan all sessions to be fun and engaging, with social distancing measures in place. (All sports non-contact or in line with NGB)
• Extended registration and departure times to ensure queuing is minimalised.
• Children remain in bubbles with the same coach each day
• No sharing of water bottles/food
• Equipment sanitised before and at the end of each day
* We are restricting numbers to 75 places per camp and this will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that demand will be extremely high so book now to avoid disappointment!
Attendees will be required to bring a packed lunch with them, as well as suitable footwear and attire for the typical English weather!
