Actor Matthew Lewis is wizard choice for LRF Grand Prize Draw on Easter Monday!

He cast a spell on audiences as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series of films. So who better than Leeds Rugby Foundation Vice President and actor Matthew Lewis to add a touch of magic to this year’s Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) Grand Prize Draw?

Leeds Rhinos fan Matthew will be drawing the winning ticket when the draw is made at half-time and the Leeds Rhinos versus Salford Reds game at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Easter Monday.

And his confirmation for the event has only added to the sense of anticipation surrounding one of the highlights of the LRF calendar.

The winner of the main prize will win a VIP TRIP OF A LIFETIME to watch the NRL Grand Final in Sydney, Australia. This unique trip for 2 courtesy of Rugby League Experience, includes Economy class flights to Sydney, 7 nights stay in a top 4-star hotel, tickets to attend the Preliminary Finals and an invitation to the Dally M Awards and Grand Final Lunch. As well as that, the lucky winner will also receive a tour of Sydney Cricket Ground and Alliance Stadium, a Legends of League Sydney Harbour Cruise and of course tickets to the NRL Grand Final itself!

Matthew played young wizard Harry Potter’s pal Neville in eight movies. A former pupil at St Mary’s Catholic School in Menston, his CV also includes appearances in TV programmes such as Dalziel and Pascoe and The Syndicate.

He was awarded an honorary degree in 2012 by Leeds Metropolitan University and has been named as a county ambassador by tourism agency Welcome to Yorkshire.
