Walk with the Rhinos and get Active

Leeds Rugby Foundation have an exciting partnership with Leeds City Council's Leeds Let's Get Active

Leeds Rugby Foundation, Leeds Rhinos and Leeds City Council are kicking off their partnership with a 10 week exercise programme for individuals aged 30 and over at Leeds Rugby Academy, every Friday from 5-6pm starting next week.

Leeds Rugby Foundation are working with Leeds City Council's "Leeds Let's Get Active" campaign to encourage people who have not been active recently to come and have a go at a circuit of physical activity tailored to your ability level.

The sessions kick off next Friday 1st August, before  a ‘Walk with the Rhinos’ will commence following the session at 6.30pm from the Leeds Rugby Academy on Bridge Road, Kirkstall, LS5 3BW, up to Headingley Carnegie Stadium to watch the Leeds Rhinos v Bradford match.

LRF want to encourage individuals and families to come along and take part in the first of these unique challenges.

Walking is a fantastic way to start getting healthier and it's even more worthwhile when you can do it as part of a Rhinos team!

Each walker will receive a free ‘Walk with the Rhinos’ T shirt!
