You’ve got to be in it to win it says last year’s Grand Prize Draw winner

John Barker was the winner of the Grand Prize Draw in 2014

Last year, Rhinos fan John Barker won a trip of lifetime to Australia with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation Grand Prize Draw and he says his £2 ticket was the best money he has ever spent!

The lifelong Leeds supporter bought his ticket on the day the draw was made and said he couldn’t believe it when his name was read out, “I bought my ticket on the morning of the draw at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.  I didn’t hear the winning ticket being drawn at half time, so when I got a call from Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Davide Longo I was in shock and thought it was a joke!

“The ticket cost me £2 and it proved to be worth it as a few months later I was flying out to Australia for a trip of a lifetime.

“I think the top prize on offer in this year’s Grand Prize Draw, of an all-inclusive family holiday to the Sol Katmandu Park and Resort in Majorca, is another superb holiday, and one for the whole family to enjoy.  I would recommend all fans to buy a ticket before the draw – you’ve got to be in it to win it – I should know!”

This year’s Grand Prize Draw will take place at half time during the Rhinos game against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on 3rd April (kick off 3pm).  There are 20 prizes to give away and the main prize this year is a Four Star Family Holiday to the Sol Katmandu Park and Resort on the Island of Majorca provided by Jet2holidays.  The newly renovated Sol Katmandu Park & Resort™ is the first "fun-inclusive" themed resort in Mallorca with both accommodation and entertainment all rolled into one package, that appeals to friends, couples and families.

Tickets can be bought from the club shop at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Monday-Friday between 9am and 6pm and Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.  They can also be bought on the day of the Rhinos v Wakefield game.
