Places are still available to enjoy a night of authentic Italian recipes from Salvo’s first recipe book at the Salvo’s Italian Restaurant and Leeds Rhinos Foundation joint fundraising event on Thursday 19th November.
Salvo's Restaurant, which has been run by the Dammone family since 1976, is delighted to celebrate it's new partnership with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as a 'Friend of the Foundation' by joint hosting a fundraising night for the Rhinos official charity, including a three course meal, raffle and exclusive insight into Salvo's owner and Book author John Dammone's new recipe book.
Bob Bowman, Leeds Rhinos Foundation Director of Operations, who will be co-hosting the event the Leeds commented:
"When you mention the name Salvo's, I am sure most people think Headingley and the restaurant's iconic status in Leeds. Therefore the synergy of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Salvos working together to improve opportunities and outcomes for the city of Leeds is so exciting.
"We are all delighted that John and Gip have recognised that the profile and impact of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation is a cause that they want to support and for that we thank them immensely for what we hope will be a long and beneficial working relationship."
John Dammone, owner of Salvo's commented:

Hosted in the restaurant's adjacent sister restaurant Salvo's Salumeria, guests will be joined by Salvo's owner and book author, John Dammone, who will give an exclusive insight to Salvo's, the book and their time- honoured recipes.
The Super League, Challenge Cup and League Leaders Shield will also be present and guests are welcome to photograph with the Silverware as well as, a raffle with suitably 'foodie' prizes with proceeds supporting the great work of the Foundation.
