Sold Out Yorkshire Marathon charity places available with Leeds Rhinos Foundation

Run with the Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos Foundation are looking for runners to take up a charity place for the PlusNet Yorkshire Marathon in York on Sunday October 9th, which has now sold out of general entry places.

The unique local event which is now in its fourth year, has once again attracted huge interest in the running community, selling out all general entry places following the official launch on the 6th January.

Taking a route through the city centre past the famous York Minster before winding its way through Heworth, Stockton on the Forest, Stamford Bridge, Catton, Murton and Osbaldwick, the PlusNet Yorkshire Marathon has plenty of support and spectator points around the route making it a special atmosphere for runners.

Over 7,000 will be taking on the 26.2 miles again in 2016, starting and finishing at the University of York campus and with 159 days to go, you can be one of them by taking up a charity place with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

We are accepting applications on a first-come first-served basis and ask our runners to raise a minimum £500 sponsorship, which will directly contribute to the excellent work that the Leeds Rhinos Foundation does with children and communities across Leeds.
