Player Association make donation to Leeds Rhinos Foundation

The Players Association have shown huge support for Leeds Rhinos Foundation

Members and the committee of the Leeds Rhinos Players Association have shown their support for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation by donating £10,000 to the charity.

At half time during the Rhinos game against Wigan Warriors former Leeds players, Derek Hallas, Ken Rollin, Phil Holmes and Paul Fletcher, presented a cheque to the Leeds Rhinos Foundation who were represented by Chair, Neil Kaiper-Holmes, Director of Operations, Bob Bowman, General Manager, Davide Longo and Trustee, Gary Hetherington. 

Speaking about their support Phil Holmes said:  “The Players Association are fully behind  the excellent work the Leeds Rhinos Foundation do in introducing Rugby League to schools in Leeds and we are proud to be able to donate this money so they can continue this valuable work, which makes such a positive difference to the community.”

Bob Bowman added: “We would like to thank all the members of the Players Association for this kind donation and their continued support for our charity.  This money will help us deliver projects in the heart of our community and change lives through sport.”
