Manchester to host Wheelchair and PDRL double-header

Saturday 24th June is ‘Super Saturday’ for Rugby League as both our Wheelchair and Physical Disability Rugby League teams take to Manchester.

This is the first time this year that both teams will play fixtures on the same day, on the same campus, and we are encouraging spectators to come and watch both games and experience these two exciting variations.

Physical Disability Rugby League

Our PDRL team will be heading to the Belle Vue Arena for their festival, with the action kicking off from 10am.

The team will be looking to build on their consecutive wins at Kingston Park earlier this month, as they take on Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity.

Arguably the most anticipated match of the Betfred Wheelchair Super League season so far for the Rhinos, as our Wheelchair team prepare for the 3rd Magic Round of the season.

Kicking off at 12pm on the same Belle Vue Campus, is Wheelchair Magic, with six Super League teams going head-to-head in the indoor arena.

James Simpsons’ side will be looking to maintain their 100% record as they take on Halifax Panthers, current reigning champions. This will be the first time that the rivals have met since last year’s Grand Final.
