LRF TV: Rhinos star Kirke urges people to sign up to Run with the Rhinos as deadline date fast approaches

Jane Tomlinson Appeal Patron and Leeds Rhinos star, Ian Kirke has urged people to sign up to Run with the Rhinos ahead of the ASDA Foundation Leeds 10k in July before places run out.

Places are filling up fast for the team spearheaded by Rhinos' legends Keith Senior and Barrie McDermott and in a year celebrating the 150th anniversary of rugby in Leeds you could be 1 of 150 runners raising £150 to celebrate the occasion.

Ian Kirke said: "This is a brilliant chance for people to pull on their trainers and hit the streets alongside their Rhinos favourites. Better still, at the same time, they can raise funds for two really great causes. Jane's legacy continues to inspire people to do amazing things – hopefully our loyal Rhinos fans will be encouraged to challenge themselves with this great opportunity. The places for this team are filling up really fast and I strongly encourage people that want to be  get involved with this great opportunity to sign up as soon as they can to make sure they don't miss out."

Rhinos' Chief Executive officer Gary Hetherington will be running for the great causes too with the LRF and Jane Tomlinson Foundation taking 50% of the money raised each to fund their work.

The runners who raise the minimum of £150 will receive the following benefits:

• A unique Run With The Rhinos running shirt and a chance to bid for the number of their choice between 1 and 150 (4 and 10 already taken) – All bids should be sent to Siobhan.Walpole@leedsrugbyfoundation.org
