Leeds Rugby Foundation hosted a girls rugby league festival at Stanningley Rugby Club which saw 18 schools take part. Watch the highlights package below.
Girls rugby league is vital within Leeds Rugby Foundation's rugby league Development Plan for Leeds which aims to get youngsters involved in the sport from the youngets of ages.
The festival down at Stanningley, which was a great example of the success of the plan, saw Pudsey Lowtown come out victorious with Gledhow Primary the runners up.
Well done also to the semi-finalists Rothwell St Mary’s, Gledhow Primary, Bramley and Pudsey Lowtown.
The hope now is that the girls progress onto play for their local amateur club.
