In a repeat of last year’s Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final, Leeds Rhinos and Halifax Panthers meet in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League semi-finals on Saturday night as the Rhinos look to go for their second piece of silverware in 2023 at the University of Leeds’ The Edge, kick-off 6.45pm.

Although the Panthers recorded a 52-36 win last weekend against the Rhinos, James Simpson’s side had already secured the League Leaders’ Shield with a stellar campaign so far in 2023. Now, eyes are firmly set on lifting the Grand Final trophy once again; a feat the side hasn’t done since their treble season in 2021.

We caught up with Head Coach, James Simpson, who reflects on the teams’ preparations ahead of this weeks semi-final clash.
