Every week Leeds Foundation invites over 55s to partake in the Rhinos Active Social club. Built on the premise of a friendly, casual atmosphere group members enjoy socialising and the sessions put on by the friendly staff.
Over the two hours a wide variety of activities including beginner's yoga, tai chi and chair based exercise are offered to encourage physical activity for those wanting to keep fit. If that's not for you, not to worry as members are welcome to attend simply for the interaction and free refreshments.
The aim of the project is simple – to engage the older community in activities to improve their physical, mental and social well-being by taking part in regular activities.
Sessions run every Tuesday 10:30am-12:30pm and cost just £2 per week.
