Leeds Rhinos Foundation, in partnership with Hunslet RL, are looking to appoint a small number of dynamic and committed coaches and team managers from the local community game to deliver on the 2026 North V South Player Development Series.
Coaches will work with players from the local area with a focus on player development in a representative environment setting.
These positions are voluntary roles, in return for their efforts, coaches and team managers will benefit from the opportunity of working in a player development environment aligned to professional clubs and the formal and informal personal development opportunities this provides.
Positions available are as follows:
- Head Coach North: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Head Coach South: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Assistant Coach North: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Assistant Coach South: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 17’s)
- Development Coach North: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Development Coach South: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Team Manager North: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
- Team Manager South: (Under 14’s, 15’s, 16’s / 18’s)
Coaching applicants will be required to be UKCC Level 2 qualified, along with relevant DBS clearance.
The commitment required is 5 training sessions and a 2 game playing series (July – September) with relevant planning and reviewing required around these. Playing Fixtures will take place at both South Leeds & AMT Headingley Stadium.
