Leeds Rhinos Foundation Opens 2026 Marathon and Half Marathon Places

Leeds Rhinos Foundation is proud to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 Run For All Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Leeds Half Marathon.

The fourth edition of this inspirational event will take place on Sunday 10th May 2026, once again starting and finishing at AMT Headingley Stadium.

As an official charity partner of Run For All, we are excited to offer our 2026 charity places, complete with an exclusive package of benefits designed to support, motivate and celebrate every runner who chooses to champion our cause.

In 2025, our incredible team of fundraising runners raised over £23,000, led by Team Captain Lindsey Burrow. This helped to support Leeds Rhinos Foundation in delivering key services and projects for people with long-term health conditions and profound disabilities.

Since its launch in 2023, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon has welcomed tens of thousands of participants to the streets of Leeds, showcasing the city’s vibrant communities, stunning countryside and unwavering spirit. The event remains a heartfelt tribute to a city that shaped Rob’s remarkable career and life.

In 2026, every pound raised will help Leeds Rhinos Foundation to continue delivering key services in changing lives through the power of sport.

Lindsey Burrow returns as Team Captain

We are honoured that Lindsey Burrow will once again lead our runners as Team Captain in 2026 with Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Reflecting on the year ahead, Lindsey said:

“I am delighted to return as Team Captain for the 2026 Leeds Rhinos Foundation running team. The Foundation delivers incredible work across Leeds and the wider region, and every runner plays a vital role in positively changing lives through the power of sport. I cannot wait to meet the team, support their journey to the start line, and run alongside them on the day.”

Kevin Sinfield Returns for 2026 Marathon

In December, Kevin Sinfield completed his latest endurance feat, 7 in 7: Together running seven ultra-marathons in seven days. Raising more than £1.15 million for six motor neurone disease (MND) charities across Great Britain. The challenge once again showcased Sinfield’s extraordinary grit, determination and compassion, as he continues to raise vital funds and awareness in support of his former teammate and close friend Rob, and the wider MND community.

Jamie Peacock to take on the marathon challenge

Adding further inspiration to the 2026 event, Leeds Rhinos legend Jamie Peacock will also take on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. One of the club’s most respected figures, Peacock’s involvement highlights the continued support from the Rhinos family and their commitment to Rob Burrow’s legacy and supporting this amazing cause.
