Leeds and Hunslet Schools competition Roundup

Brigshaw Year 10 Boys team who will be competing in the Leeds and Hunslet Champion of Champions Final at John Charles Centre for Sport on Wednesday 15th November

With the RFL’s Champion Schools Leeds stages complete, the Leeds Rhinos Foundation have continued to support school Rugby League competition with the Leeds and Hunslet schools plate and playoff competitions taking place across the city this term to establish the Champions of Leeds

Organised by Leeds Rhinos Foundation Competitions Coordinator Lois Forsell, the Leeds and Hunslet plate competition this year provided the chance for schools who were unsuccessful in their bid to represent Leeds in the RFL Champion Schools national knockout competition, a chance to compete in more fixtures against their Leeds school counterparts during the school year.

Under the new format for 2015-16, the winners of the Leeds and Hunslet Schools Plate competition progressed to the Leeds and Hunslet Schools Playoff Competition to be pitted against the Leeds schools who had progressed to the Champions Schools competition for a chance to become Champions of Champions at John Charles Centre for Sport at the end of November and early December.
