Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be hosting the Celebration of Rugby League Dinner on the 23rd April 2016 at the Headingley Carnegie Stadium Long Bar for the 9th year of the event to unite all constituents of the Leeds Rugby League family to share and celebrate achievements in the city over the past year.
The event which will be hosted by Leeds Rhinos Foundation Director of Operations Bob Bowman, will include a special Q&A session with Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brian McDermott along with the Leeds Rhinos squad and some Rugby League stars of the past.
A series of presentations will be made on the night including the John Ahm Lifetime Achievement Award and the John Holmes Memorial Award, alongside a recognition of the city’s achievements from all of the organisations within Rugby League in the city.
Live entertainment will also take place on the night and a raffle in aid of Leeds Rhinos Foundation, with all proceeds going to support the Foundation’s Community Programme of Rugby League Development within the city and widening areas.
The Leeds Rugby League Heritage Group will once again organise a display of Rugby League history with trophy contributions welcomed to be displayed on the night.

“It’s a genuine pleasure of mine to organise this event which pays tribute to all the hard working coaches, referees, players, parents and volunteers who provide the fantastic rugby league environment we have in Leeds.
“The dinner has been extremely well attended in recent years, so we are encouraging people to book early and enjoy this special occasion with us celebrating the city’s many achievements.”
