A new opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Education Partnership Coordinator with Leeds Rhinos Foundation responsible for leading and developing partnerships with educational stakeholders including schools, colleges, universities whilst ensuring all partnerships are delivered and developed in line with Leeds Rhinos targets and club requirements.

Leeds Rhinos Foundation aims to change lives through sport and this individual will have the opportunity to do just that. They need to be motivated, passionate and a self-starter with excellent communication skills. 

A vacancy has arisen to join a growing and inspirational Foundation that focuses on the coordination and development of the education strand of the Leeds Rhinos Ambassador Scheme which operates in the Leeds district and beyond.

The Ambassador scheme aims to develop a vibrant and pro-active network of local, regional, national and international Ambassador, all promoting the Leeds Rhinos brand and offering opportunities to current and future fans.  

As part of the Ambassador Scheme, Leeds Rhinos provide special offers for students and teachers, such as teacher coaching workshops and rugby taster sessions for students. The scheme also offers pupils the chance to attend Leeds Rhinos games and take part in match day activity at a discounted rate. Groups can also attend exclusive Stadium Tours and have the opportunity to have a Rhinos Takeover experience within their school.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and developing partnerships with educational stakeholders including schools, colleges, universities whilst ensuring all partnerships are delivered and developed in line with Leeds Rhinos targets and club requirements. They will be working closely with Leeds Rhinos in developing the ambassador’s scheme under the supervision of Leeds Rhinos Foundation. 

A demonstrable background in relationship building and the ability to develop new partnerships across a range of organisations and individuals is essential. Knowledge of sport and education would be advantageous and the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines will be a necessity.

Evening and weekend work may be required to assist with the delivery of Ambassador events. 

This is a full time role, which will be based at Leeds Rhinos Rugby Academy or Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

Salary – £18-20k dependant on experience. 

The successful candidate’s appointment will be subject to a CRB check and references.
