As the region’s club network prepares for another season in 2016, Leeds Rhinos Foundation is pleased to be working closely with 11 girls and ladies teams now operating across Leeds and West Yorkshire, who are looking to recruit players going forward for their girls and ladies teams.
The strength of the girls game in the area is at an all time high with a burgeoning network of clubs now operating girls and ladies teams, coupled with a school programme delivered by the Leeds Rhinos Foundation across the city, offering both primary and secondary school girls the opportunity to play different rugby formats with Tag, Touch and full sided competitions and curriculum time sessions to help children and teenagers learn the game.
