Get your hair cut by Rhinos players at Children’s Day!

Jordan Baldwinson and Josh Walters will be joining Barber B at Children's Day

At this year’s Children’s Day on 16th July we will be joined by the Piranha Barber Academy and Ross’s Barber Shop, who will be setting up a pop up barbers/hair salon and offering children free haircuts, plaits and braids from their barbers and stylists, who include Rhinos stars Jordan Baldwinson and Josh Walters.

The Rhinos duo are currently training at the Piranha Barber Academy and are about to undertake work experience at the PBA which is entitled the 'The Rhinos Takeover'.  They will be helping out on the day alongside their fellow barbers who will be placed at intervals along a conveyor belt at the Academy’s pop up hair salon or as we have nicknamed it 'the PBA Bootcamp'.  The barbers will work as a team to get the haircut finished, with each concentrating on one process of the haircut such as fade, shape up, hair pattern, scissor work etc as the children come through.

Barber B from the Piranha Barber Academy said: “We are delighted to be coming along to the annual Children’s Day at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.  It is a wonderful event for the city and we are proud to be part of it."

“Jordan and Josh will be part of our team of barbers on the day and they have more than proved themselves as up to the task over the passing weeks .  If you’re coming along to Children’s Day look out for us in our pink and blue t-shirts and bring your children over to get a new look haircut from the team at Piranha Barber Academy and Ross's Barber Shop.”

Piranha Barber Academy (PBA) was established in 2008 and is based in Leeds. The founder Brian Swarray (Barber B) trains across the country delivering a wide range of VTCT accredited barbering qualifications.  Including watch and learn seminars and one-day cutting courses including traditional wet shaving and barbering.
