Coaches from schools and clubs in Leeds can gain insight into all areas of a forward’s offensive game on 28th February as Leeds Rhinos Foundation deliver the first Coach Education workshop of 2018 at Leeds Rugby Academy with special guest Leeds Rhinos star Adam Cuthbertson
Coach Education, which last year saw over 304 coaches attend a workshop delivered by Leeds Rhinos' official charity, will kick off with the first workshop delivered by the Rhinos veteran forward on the topic of ruck offensive plays.
Supported by Leeds Rhinos Assistant coach Barry Eaton, Cuthbertson, who will coach the Leeds Rhinos women's team in 2018 through their first season in Super League, will be working with the Leeds Rhinos academy on the night to demonstrate a number of drills and provide open Q+A with coaches in attendance.
The programme is part of Leeds Rhinos Foundation's Rugby League Development Plan sponsored by Mears, which among objectives to drive increased participation in Rugby League, aims to improve the teaching and coaching of players and community coaches to improve standards in the game.
The programme is suitable for coaches of all abilities working with primary rugby league, women's rugby or coaching junior and open age men's rugby and is free to attend.
The workshop will start from 6:45pm concluding at 8:15pm.
If you would like to attend the workshop and for more information on the programme email sam.horner@leedsrhinosfoundation.org
