Leeds Rhinos Foundation are looking to appoint a small number of dynamic and committed coaches from the community game to coach on the new North vs South Under 16’s and 18’s Player Development Series in Leeds.
Aligned to the clubs England Talent Pathway programme, coaches will work with Under 16’s and 18’s players from the local area with player development in mind both from a technical and tactical perspective ahead of the inaugural programme which will take place during the school holidays this summer.
These positions are voluntary roles, in return for their efforts coaches will benefit from the opportunity of working in a player development environment aligned to a Super League club and the formal and informal coach development opportunities this provides
Positions available are as follows:
- Head Coach North (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Head Coach South (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Assistant Coach North (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Assistant Coach South (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Development Coach North (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Development Coach South (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Team Manager North (Under 16’s & 18’s)
- Team Manager South (Under 16’s & 18’s)
Applicants will be required to be UKCC Level 2 qualified, along with relevant DBS clearance. The commitment required is six training sessions and a two game playing series in August (dates TBC) with relevant planning and reviewing required around these.
