Leeds Rhinos Foundation is delighted to announce that finance and insurance specialists Wise Advisor has agreed to become the official sponsors of the charity’s junior winter indoor touch Rugby League programme in 2017.
Wise Advisor, who work with a network of advisers and consultants across the country delivering advice on finance and insurance products, will help Leeds Rhinos Foundation to support the growth of the game at grassroots level through their backing of one of the charity’s flagship junior rugby programmes.
The Winter Indoor Touch programme, which has been running for ten years, provides off season Rugby League competition for junior players from Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Ambassador Club Scheme and takes place each year from November through to the start of the Rugby League season in March.
The programme is designed to provide a chance for players in the Under-7s to Under-11s age groups to showcase and develop their talents in a fun and inclusive environment while crucially keeping clubs together during the winter off season.
Dan Busfield, Leeds Rhinos Foundation Partnership Manager said: “We are very excited to enter into partnership with Wise Advisor who have shown a really strong interest in supporting grassroots rugby development through our indoor touch programme.
“We’d like to thank Matthew Tebb and the team from Wise Advisor for coming on board with us, the partnership will benefit both parties going forward with Wise Advisor also having some presence at some of our other major events, while also developing a cash back incentive for their services with our clubs.”
The support of Wise Advisor, will allow Leeds Rhinos Foundation to continue their indoor programme during 2017, benefitting over 1,000 junior players from 25 Ambassador clubs from across Leeds, along with young referees, coaches and parents.
