East Leeds ARLFC are recruiting for their Open Age Ladies side ahead of the new season which begins in April.
East Leeds ARLFC has a proud heritage of developing players, both men and women, who have gone onto play rugby at the highest level. Rhinos legend Danny McGuire is a former East Leeds player and current Leeds Rhinos Women's star and England international, Lois Forsell, started playing with the club.
The new Leeds Rhinos Women's Under-19s squad also has three players – Jess Crockford, Mia Clarke and Paige Webster – who have come through the system at East Leeds.
Speaking about her time at the club Lois said: "East Leeds are a great club and I played my first ever rugby there in their Under-7s and fell in love with playing the game. It's a friendly club and I made lots of good friends and really enjoyed my time there. If anyone living in or around East Leeds is looking for a club to play Rugby League I would recommend they go along to East Leeds and give it a try and become part of the Rugby League family."
